Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• You will take ownership of the harness design and routing of the harnesses assigned to you.
• Own the design, layout, development, and delivery of harnesses used for high power test systems, as well as low power digital and analog signaling.
• Perform harness design in various tools, including Zuken and Visio.
• Ensure high quality output product, with attention to the details that matter in test and measurement setups.
• Support prototype Wire Harness work of both in-house and external harness manufacturers.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team of system engineers, electrical engineer, and manufacturing engineers.

Education/Experience

• 2 years’ experience in harness design

Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

• Harness 2D engineering drawing creation using Zuken and/or Visio.
• Demonstrated strong understanding of design first principles.
• You are a highly motivated, self-starting individual with a broad set of skills and never afraid of facing complex technical challenges.

• You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communications to suit the audience.
• You can adapt quickly or propose changes needed to achieve early results in a timely fashion.

Desired skills

• Worked on prior aerospace, military, or high-rel test systems.
• Knowledge of EMC design considerations.

Location: On-site, Altedena, CA

Salary Range: $80K-$140K

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
