Minimum of 5 years of industry experience as CFD analyst with direct experience using Fluent, Star-CCM , or OpenFoam.
Minimum of 4 years experience creating high accuracy models using ANSA or equivalent tools for full vehicle level CFD model construction, visualization, and analysis.
Familarity with custom CFD methods for improved modeling and analysis.
Advanced degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience.• Retrieve and prep CAD parts from CATIA database for CFD modeling• Rename retrieved part surfaces based on the internal naming convention• Clean, repair and separate geometry in ANSA to be accommodated in the internal thermal simulation work process• Mesh geometry for cut-cell CFD volume meshing• Build full vehicle CFD models for aero-thermal analysis• Conduct follow-up and counter-measure simulations to improve parts performance• Support to increase efficiency of CFD model building and parts changes• Work as a team member to support full vehicle development• Overtime and off-hours work may be required
