Altec specializes in the manufacture, sale and service of aerial devices, digger derricks, cranes and specialty equipment for the electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, construction, and light and signs markets.

We help our customers dig deeper and reach higher in more than 100 countries around the world. Responsibilities MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Responsible for managing an accurate production schedule in Oracle
  • Perform schedule adjustments as needed based on production capacity & component availability
  • May coordinate body and chassis orders and manages delivery schedule
  • Create and deliver schedule to production
  • Update schedule based upon product availability
  • Create purchase orders & process invoices for major components
  • Coordinate and manage after-market processing for individual jobs
  • Support all Roanoke operations scheduling activities as needed
  • Make recommendations on product mix
  • Communicate with sales delivery date changes
  • May review job costs
  • May interact with Account Managers and customers on schedule and delivery of units
  • All other duties as assigned EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
  • High School Degree or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred; Excel & Word experience required
  • Oracle experience preferred
  • Supply chain and / or scheduling experience preferred Should the selected candidate meet the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted.
