Overview: We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing excellent service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable. Responsibilities: - Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly - Deliver orders to tables in a timely fashion - Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions or concerns - Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and addressing any issues - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with accuracy - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant - Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating Skills: - Previous experience in the food industry, preferably as a Server or Server/Server - Strong cash handling skills and ability to operate a cash register - Excellent hospitality and customer service skills - Knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary terminology - Familiarity with reservation systems such as OpenTable - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Attention to detail in order accuracy and guest requests Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
