This position requires US citizenship and possesses and can maintain a security clearance (TS/SCI preferred). This work will be performed at our customer's facility at the NGA Campus East in Springfield, VA.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Altamira is searching for a skilled software developer with experience developing computer software systems using modern software languages and technologies and experience deploying software systems to cloud resources.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Support the SOCOM GAP program by developing applications that provide critical mission capability such as MRT (mission reporting), CAT (implant asset tracking), IWOC (mission dashboard for stakeholder status updates), and with current emphasis on SCOUT (crisis response air transport planning) and OPSYNC (asset and event planning for air sync operations).
• Experienced using Go, React, MySQL, Typescript, Java, PostgreSQL
• Development is performed primarily in Linux based web services, backends written in Go and frontends with React typescript, using Mysql and Elasticsearch databases. 
• Configure Gitlab CI/CD pipelines to verify code passes quality and security checks.
• Certification required: Security Certified; desired certification: Certified Scrum Master
