Job Summary:
As a Trade Show Sales Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing our trade show presence, showcasing our innovative software solutions, and developing new business opportunities. This dynamic role involves constructing and dismantling displays, organizing event spaces, and ensuring seamless operations. You will travel to various convention centers, engage in sales activities, and coordinate logistics, inventory, and promotional items to enhance our trade show success.
Job Responsibilities:
Maximize Revenue: Lead efforts at official trade shows to secure top revenue opportunities.
Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase Altametrics' market share in the tradeshow sector.
Operational Oversight: Organize and oversee procedures for warehousing, documentation, and transportation of trade show materials.
Training and Development: Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to train and enhance procedures, ensuring effective communication with show contractors.
Customer Support: Train and support service centers and customer support personnel in handling trade show freight logistics, including pick-up, delivery, and billing.
Logistics Partnership: Identify and secure logistics partners to manage air freight and other transportation services profitably.
Profit Management: Direct operations and sales efforts at show sites to achieve profit goals.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in sales, with a preference for candidates with tradeshow experience.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
