About Your Work 

Join our high performing Credentialing Team as a Provider Management Business System Analyst where you'll be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of system changes related to the business processes, reporting, and applications associated with the provider management from recruiting, credentialing, contracting, data load and rosters. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to identify efficiencies and support synchronization of databases within the complex provider data model and associated upstream and downstream impacts. We seek individuals with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for promoting health and wellness

As our new Provider Management Business System Analyst, you will work hybrid in anywhere in the continental United States, and you are willing to work California hours from approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm Pacific Time.

You will focus on:

  • Analyzes business, regulatory and user requirements to implement provider management solutions and modifications 
  • Develop and maintain design artifacts representing the proposed solutions effectively 
  • Drive testability and operational readiness with impacted stakeholders while collaborating with communications and outreach teams on external stakeholder effects 
  • Support system upgrades across provider management 
  • Run data imports for existing files, work with Enterprise Analysis when new data import files are required
  • Serve as the primary liaison for all regulatory and external stakeholder reporting 
  • Identify, assess and communicate potential risks associated with proposed solutions 
  • Coordinates the maintenance of the provider data standards across multiple business functions 
  • Support configuration of systems from developing business requirements, building new workflows and testing across provider management 
  • Supports provider record audits for quality and accuracy 
  • Advance and continuously improve automation abilities in existing systems to enable greater team efficiency, compliance and output 
  • Configure functions and reporting capabilities within the credentialing database 
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely submission of new additions, changes or terminations of network providers to stakeholders in support of the data integrity of the credentialing database

The Skills, Experience & Education You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent to 4 year university degree, preferably in healthcare related field of study. 
  • 5 years professional experience working in credentialing, provider data management or configurations, preferably in a managed care setting required.. 
  • Experience with provider management tools including recruiting, credentialing, contracting, data load and rosters (Prefer sPayer – symplr) 
  • Independently resolve issues and to develop solutions for existing problems to be escalated to internal leadership where appropriate 
  • Provider data management experience; knowledgeable in database rules, writing queries, and implications of specific provider data elements across multiple solutions 
  • Ability to develop reports based on exported data/files 
  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders to develop technical solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency of processes and reporting 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organizational and administrative abilities 
  • Advanced Excel and Access knowledge is required as well as general knowledge of software systems such as Epic or sPayer (Symplr)

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. We provide a competitive compensation package that recognizes your experience, credentials, and education alongside a robust benefits program to meet your needs. 

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed in our salary posting for transparency but may vary based on factors including the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and geographic location. This base pay range is specific to California and can vary based on Bay Area, Metro LA, and Greater California regions which may not be applicable to other locations.

Physical Requirements: 

Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork – Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of workday. 

External hires must pass a background check/drug screen.
