We are seeking a Pet Care Associate to join our team! We are fun, fast-paced and team-oriented boarding/grooming facility. Our ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, outgoing, friendly, adaptable, willing to work in a team setting and learn new skills. You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and complete the check-in and check-out process
• Handle general care tasks such as feeding and grooming of the animals
• Assist in restraining animals for veterinary management
• Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
• Engage in play activities and exercise with the pets
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
• Must have schedule flexibility including Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays
• Be able to lift up to 60 lbs. frequently

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in animal care or other related fields
• Passion for helping and treating animals
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft and AVImark software
• Ability to handle all types of domestic dog, cat, and small exotic animals

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
