Candidates must be local to the DMV area and ready for hybrid work in Reston, VA. HOURLY RATE: $60/HR. This is not a senior level role. Cloud skills - moving things to the cloud As a valued contributor to our team, the AWS Solution Architect I will consult with management on the development of processes and procedures for designing and implementing components of technological structures. In this role, you will create solutions with a process-driven view, as well as maintain and/or update existing structures. Oversee existing structures, as well as the implementation and ongoing monitoring of governance. Perform modeling, analysis, and planning to solve technical business problems and identify opportunities and risks. Develop target state architectures, including compliance for cloud inventory – influence delivery toward target state with the business and firm-wide technology products. Strategic thought leadership to advance product architecture tooling and operation models related to application portfolio modernization and tech debt that is visible and actioned. Ensure standards, principles and tech stack are refreshed and guide application modernization. Collaborate with other Architects on application architecture, data architecture, deployment architectures, functional design specifications; assist with other project deliverables as needed. Expertise in Database and Management technologies including both relational and NoSQL DBs. Expertise in AWS Data Migration Service and Test Data management frameworks including encryption, masking, data, and database migration.
