Our Dock and Door Group is currently looking for a full time Overhead Door Technician for our Bohemia, NY branch. Technicians/installers will be part of the installation and service team for Commercial/Industrial/High Speed Doors, Door Operating Systems, Gate Operating Systems and Dock Leveling Systems. Most commercial installation work is done on new construction or replacement of existing Doors, Gates or Docks. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to: Requirements:Experience as an Overhead Door Loading Dock Technician, 2 years (Preferred)Clean License (Required)Valid Driver’s LicenseExperience diagnosing, repairing, inspecting and maintaining commercial dock levelers, over head doors, garage doors, high speed doors and gates is a PlusWorking Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems is a PlusWelding/Fabrication Experience is a PlusIndividuals must have their own Basic ToolsDependableAbility to lift up to 75 poundsFollow proper safety while using all tools including laddersExperience using forklifts is a plusExcellent Communication SkillsCustomer FocusedAbility to follow instructions and Apply Problem Solving in the field to resolve issues that may come up while in the fieldStable Work History
