Responsibilities: Our construction equipment group is seeking a full-time Rental Coordinator for our Fort Myers, FL location. Our new team member will assist with rental tasks to identify customer needs, coordinate pick-ups, and perform inventory control for our rental department. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:Manage customer relationshipsCoordinate daily equipment rentals Assisting customers that walk into our branchProvide customers with expert advice on equipment selectionSupport outside sales teamManage fleet availability, utilization and returnsClose rental deals from inbound inquiries leadsIncorporate Alta’s Guiding Principles into daily activitiesPerforms other duties as assignedConsistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time Desired Skills and Qualifications: 1 year of construction experience preferredExcellent time management skillsUpbeat & positive attitudeAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environmentExcellent communication skills - both verbal and writtenKnowledge of construction equipment or similar industryGood computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookLanguage Skills - Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.Reasoning Ability - Intermediate; Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
