This is achieved by “real world” experience at one of our work locations. Alta Interns will receive:An opportunity for temporary employment, which provides practical experience and competitive salaries. All internships are paid internships.Consideration for future internships and fulltime employment based on intern performance.EligibilityTo qualify for the intern program, students must: Have the right to work in the U.S.Have daytime 20 hours a week and be in their last 6 months of the student program. Be willing to accept the internship for at least a 12-week period Achieve and maintain at least a cumulative 2.8 grade-point average through your last semester prior to the starting date of the intern period.Pass a physical & drug screen and background check.We regard interns as professionals rather than students and give you challenging assignments to provide exposure to various career options within your discipline of study.Selection ProcessInterns are evaluated and selected based upon: Academic performance Experience from high school automotive classes, military training or exhibit a mechanical aptitude References from your school Demonstrated leadership potentialInterest in a career in Construction Equipment IndustryCommunication skillsMust meet initial mechanical and aptitude testing requirementsIntern candidates are interviewed during on-campus interviews.
