Our Construction segment at Alta Equipment Group is seeking a Branch Manager to run our Harrisburg, Pa branch. The Branch Manager will oversee all aspects of the parts, service, rentals and sales departments along with daily branch operations. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to: Oversee all aspects of Branch Operations including all departmentsDrive business to meet forecasted goals while adding growthP&L for entire branchEmployee and customer relations Monitor building conditionInventory controlFluent in the operations of the Sales, Rental, Parts and Service department in order to cover for any staff that may be off Incorporating Safety into daily activitiesPerforms other duties as assignedBranch Budget developmentRental Fleet optimization, work closely with Regional Director Rental CapEx building upgrade budgetsIncorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activitiesConsistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time Qualifications A minimum of 4-6 years of management experience Bachelor's degree is preferred. Dealership experience is highly preferred. Ability to effectively lead others. Time management skills. Must have a clean driving history and a valid driver's licenseComputer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Business Intelligence (BI); Crystal Reports, Fleetmatics, PayTrace, Concur, Extend Language Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills - Intermediate: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability - High: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
