POSITION: Head Boys Basketball Coach
LOCATION: Alsea School District
RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise all aspects of the program. Supervise and direct volunteer and assistant coaches. Organize practice sessions; train players in all aspects of the game; handle inventory and care of athletic equipment; uphold school rules and values. The successful candidate will be under the supervision of the Administration and the Athletic Director.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school coaching experience preferred with thorough knowledge of the sport. Ability to communicate well with young people and parents. Possess or ability to obtain First Aid Card and OSAA Coaching Certification. Drug Screen required. Must be able to obtain Type 20 driving certification and be willing to take on summer basketball.
HOURS: As needed per schedule
SALARY: $3,684 to $4,298 (2023-2024 scale), dependent upon experience
