Tree-Mek Operator Job Description

Job Summary:

The Tree-Mek Operator position is important to the success of Alpine Tree Service because it is the single most productive machine in the tree care world. A successful operator enables us to perform the most dangerous of tree work projects in the most safe and efficient manner.

Job Responsibilities:

· KnuckleBoom Crane operating for tree removals

· Crane operating in tandem with tree climbers

· Maintaining equipment

· Maintains safety of equipment and crew at all times

· Daily preparation of trucks and equipment

· Reading, understanding and following work orders through application on tablet or cell phone

· Effectively communicating with team members, sales reps, customers and office

· Properly completing job completion reports

· Perform all work in accordance with best practices

· DOT reporting

Qualifications:

· At least 6 months of crane experience

· Articulating Boom Crane (ABC) Operator Certification

· Commercial Drivers License

· Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills to understand and meet client needs.

● Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean MVR
