The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing technology projects and IT solutions supporting the organization. The primary responsibilities of the Senior Business Analyst will be to analyze the IT business road map while supporting the Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Quality Assurance functions within Alpine. You will work alongside our Project Management team to gather business requirements, analyze data, and develop project and system implementation and enhancement plans for key stakeholders. This person will report to the Director of IT and will be based out of our office in Seattle, WA in a hybrid capacity.
Duties and responsibilities:
•Evaluating current IT infrastructure, collaborating with stakeholders to identify system needs, and developing a strategic IT systems roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for IT systems and processes.
•Lead strategic planning and execution of efforts aligned with portfolio and organization objectives while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines.
•Conduct in-depth analysis of operations to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
•Design and implement solutions that enhance productivity, work with finance to reduce costs, and support our research and development efforts.
•Develop and manage project plans, ensuring that solutions are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
•Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
•Lead the testing and deployment of new systems or enhancements, ensuring they meet the needs of the business.
•Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.
•Provide training and support to business users on new systems and procedures.
•Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
•At least 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech setting.
•Experience with systems commonly used in the biopharma sector. (CTMS, IRT, RIMS, LIMS, QMS, etc.)
•Experience implementing large scale IT solutions including business analysis, project management, process improvement, including knowledge of computer systems validation and software deployment.
•Experience with strategic planning within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a science and/or IT field.
•Demonstrated project management excellence.
•Practical knowledge of SDLC principles, industry best practices, and assigned system(s) (SDLC/ADLC). Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, GDPR, etc.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills including attention to detail.
•Must have strong knowledge of clinical drug development processes, clinical study design, study planning and management, and monitoring.
•Experience in support of the planning, launching, maintenance, and closure of clinical trials, including global clinical trials.
•Strong technology skills including PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel, MS Teams, Smartsheet.

This position is a Professional level position, with a compensation range of $120,000 - $155,000. Note that candidates must be located in WA state .
