We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Event Rental Operations Manager to lead our operations team.
Job Summary:
The Event Rental Operations Manager at Alpine Events will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our rental department. This role involves managing inventory, coordinating logistics, leading a team, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event operations, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding event experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of event equipment and supplies. Conduct regular audits and implement efficient inventory tracking processes.
Logistics and Transportation: Plan and coordinate event equipment deliveries, setups, and pickups. Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize routes and ensure timely delivery schedules.
Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing recommendations, and ensuring client satisfaction. Resolve any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of rental coordinators, drivers, and warehouse staff. Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for training and development.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless sourcing of rental equipment.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards in the handling, transportation, and storage of event equipment.
Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on rental activity, inventory levels, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making.
