Primary responsibilities:

• Make sure all customers are greeted as they enter the lot. Direct/ assist as needed.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all rental inventory. Including lifts, bobcats, tractors, lawn and garden equipment, etc.
• Respond to repair tickets for rental inventory that is out of service. Diagnose the cause of the problem and repair as necessary.
• Identify parts needed for inventory or immediate repair and communicate with parts manger to ensure appropriate stock is on hand.
• Inspect all rental inventory for safety malfunctions, ensure all equipment is operating at 100% within manufacturer’s safety guidelines.
• Annual maintenance and on demand repair of customer equipment including lawn mowers, snow blowers, chain saws, and any other small engine item.
• Operate vehicles/trailers in a safe manner, moving around the facility and/or the local area on delivery jobs.

Position requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Lift over 100 pounds with assistance from appropriate equipment or another person.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, able to meet deadlines and targets
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Valid Driver's License

Traits desired:

• Ability to work with computers, specifically email, parts look up and inventory tracking.
• Self-starter with the ability to take on new tasks without a lot of supervision
• Team player - Be willing to help in areas outside of your job description. Pitch in whenever needed.
• Experience working with heavy equipment, general construction tools.
• Being able to maneuvers trucks and trailers on the road in a safe and effective manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
