Alpine Dental is Hiring an Entry Level Dental Assistant Near Mount Vernon, WA

ALPINE DENTAL is excited to announce we are currently hiring for a Dental Assistant or Entry Level Dental Assistant/Floater/Sterile Tech in Mount Vernon, WA! This position is responsible for providing support to our dental team by ensuring patient care is carried out in accordance with specifications, making recommendations when appropriate, and working as part of the dental team to ensure efficient and efficient patient care.

WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON, MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A 7:30AM-7:00PM SHIFT AT LEAST 2X A WEEK.

Qualifications:

  • Current state Dental Assisting Registration or to be obtained within 30 days of employment
  • Current active dental assisting certification or previous schooling/internship history. *willing to train the right person with no experience, if you have medical assisting experience you are encouraged to apply.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to work at least 1-3 days of an open-close shifts (7:45am-7:00pm)
  • Must be able to work 1 Saturday a month (7:45am-2:00pm)
  • Must be able to take direction from the dentist, or team member.
  • Must be friendly, professional, friendly with patients, courteous and have a pleasant personality.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist by taking patient vital signs; prepare instruments and equipment; assist in the procedure room by preparing patient for examination and treatment; following directions from the dentist and company staff
  • Prepare and stock dental instruments and supplies
  • Sterilization, take x-ray, daily functions of a dental practice
  • Prepare dental treatment rooms and equipment for procedures expected to serve within company scope of practice
  • Assess patient needs and respond to questions or concerns regarding treatment by providing information; learn dental terminology, procedures and dental treatments; maintain accurate patient charts using Dentrix a dental software system.
