**General Purpose**

The Retail Business Banker position is an intermediate-level position that travels as needed to assist officers and educate customers about Alpine Bank products and services.

**Essential Duties/Responsibilities**

* Practices exceptional service with customers using training programs and measurement tools.

* Assists customers with commercial electronic banking products including, but not limited to, merchant processing, Remote Deposit, and business credit cards.

* Exhibits expert level of knowledge of consumer and business new account programs.

* Uses numerous software applications to accomplish daily tasks with minimal errors.

* Understands consumer lending services, tools and guidelines.

* Advanced knowledge in, and ability to demonstrate, Alpine Bank On-Line services.

* Demonstrates consistent exceptional customer sales and service skills.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

**Job Qualifications**

*Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:*

* Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to independently consult with the Banks customers.

* Familiarity with legal classifications of business entities.

* Demonstrated ability to collaborate on and participate in sales presentations.

* Understanding and application of banking compliance regulations.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including (but not limited to) Excel, Word, and Outlook.

* Notary Public is a plus.

*Education or Formal Training:*

* High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent.

* Associates or Bachelors Degree a plus.

* Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Colorado Drivers License is required.

*Experience:*

* This person shall have completed all requirements of the Customer Service and Personal Banking Representative positions and have at least 2 years of experience.

**Working Conditions**

*Working Environment:*

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment. Travel to customer locations is likely. May include some weekend and evening hours.
