Alpine Bank Opportunities is Hiring a Product Manager - Digital Products Near Grand Junction, CO

General Purpose

The Product Manager of Digital Products manages Alpine Bank’s online and mobile banking platform, including the integrated services and our digital account opening service. This position is responsible assisting with the development and execution of the digital products roadmap.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Regular and reliable attendance is required as an essential function of this position.
  • Assists with the development and execution of the digital products roadmap in the Digital Banking area of the bank, including managing the backlog, and understanding how to prioritize project requests based on changing requirements.
  • Creates efficiencies, and continually researches and implements new services.
  • Spearheads upgrades and enhancements to the Bank’s online and mobile banking and digital account opening platforms and coordinates system changes to other areas within the bank.
  • Works closely and collaboratively with management, other product managers, location management, and various other internal departments to initiate and develop outstanding digital products.
  • Provides vision, direction, and expertise to leadership across the bank related to products managed.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, efficiency, and continued growth of our existing digital products and services; including but not limited to online and mobile banking and integrated services and digital account opening.
  • Proactively notifies management and stakeholders of risks, issues, and concerns.
  • Leads projects, and potentially teams or provides direction to junior staff on less complex digital product initiatives.
  • Advises on updates to product agreements, risk assessments and policies and proactively notifies management and stakeholders of risks, issues, and concerns.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

  • Displays excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to share technical expertise with team members and subordinates.
  • Strong understanding of digital banking systems, information technology systems and software with a high proficiency in the use of Adobe, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and risk requirements.
  • Self-motivated, works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
  • Skill in obtaining information and identifying key issues and relationships relevant to achieving a long-range goal or vision.
  • Understanding how to identify problems and willingness to make recommendations to address them.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Skill in understanding customer needs and delivering unsurpassed customer service.
  • Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.

  • An expert and creative problem solver and comfortable operating in a rapidly changing and uncertain environment.
  • Natural curiosity and self-directed ability to seek out information and meet goals/deadlines.
  • Analytical: (e.g., comfortable with data) and can combine an understanding of business objectives, customer needs, and data required to deliver customer experience and business results.

Education or Formal Training:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent required.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree with focus in Technology, Design, Entrepreneurship, Analytics, Marketing, Business, or similar field is preferred.
  • CTP, AAP, AIPMM or related field certification a plus.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Colorado Drivers’ License, required.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two to three (2-3) years working in the Financial Services industry is preferred.
  • A minimum of one (1) year working in the Digital Banking environment or similar is preferred.
  • A minimum of at least Two (2) years of product management or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education is preferred.

Working Conditions

Working Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Occasional travel to conferences, meetings and branch locations, evening and weekend work should be anticipated.

Physical Activities:

These are representative of those which must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Employee also may have to lift up to 25 lbs.

Starting Rate of Pay is from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
