The Regional Decoration Generalists acts as a support role within the sales team, focusing on hard goods and decoration aspects of the business within their assigned region. Reporting directly to the Regional Inside Sales Manager, this position collaborates closely with inside sales representatives to follow up on large hard goods quotes, manage VIP decoration orders, and provide expert support in Netsuite, our order management software.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Hard Goods Sales Support:
   • Collaborate with inside sales representatives to follow up on large hard goods quoted opportunities and potential orders within the assigned region.
   • Serve as the regional expert in Netsuite, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient management of decoration orders.
2. Netsuite Super User:
   • Act as a Netsuite super user, proficient in utilizing the software to manage decoration orders, track sales activities, and provide timely updates to the sales team.
   • Load programs and co-ops, specific to Hard Goods and decoration, into Netsuite
3. Customer Engagement and Order Follow-up:
   • Proactively reach out to customers on behalf of inside sales representatives to follow up on large opportunity quotes and potential orders.
   • Work to secure orders and facilitate smooth handover to inside sales representatives for final closure.
4. Order Management and Triage:
   • Work at the discretion of the Regional Inside Sales Manager to triage orders that require special attention, from receipt of purchase orders to delivery.
   • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address any issues or concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Training and Support:
   • Provide training and support to inside sales representatives on decoration-related processes and Netsuite functionalities as needed.
   • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to decoration, promotional products and hard goods sales.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or order management within the promotional products industry is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Netsuite or similar order management software is highly encouraged.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
