We're looking for a go-getting self-starter who can manage our jobs from start to finish. This individual must be highly organized, paying special attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Go out into the community and stop at residential and commercial job sites and get plans to bid on. 
• Put all pricing into our software and input the labor, materials, rental equipment, equipment dump fees, and sub-contractors. 
• Follow up on all bids that you submit and track on our software Trello. 
• Order and schedule pick up or delivery of all materials. 
• Coordinate with both the general manager and the foreman as needed the go between the office, the job file, and the field. 
• Set up all job files, after going through each and every job to catch any questions that could become a problem. 
• Perform an on-site walk-through with the Landscape Manager before the start of the project. 
• Keep up to date with industry standards regarding landscape/hardscape installation. 
• Design landscape projects using the CAD program Landscape Pro. 
• Organize job files and account for financial costs. 
• Prepare work estimates by proposals, blueprints, and specifications. 
• Working knowledge/understanding of identifying labor/material, and time requirements with the ability to compute costs. 
• Prepare and present estimates. 
• Maintain cost database through software. 
• Maintain contact and establish relationships with vendors, employees, and organizations. 
• Work in the field with the jobs you are overseeing. 
• Submit check requests and schedule payments in a timely manner, including any prior approval or authorization. 
• Communicate well with both office and field management. 
• Adherence to all office policies and procedures for Alpha Zeta. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

• The position is to be filled by a landscape installation expert who can work on their own and get along with all employees and clients. 
• Must have a deep understanding of plants, including specs and species 
• Knowledge of all hardscapes installs and materials such as synthetic turf, pavers, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls, Bluetooth lighting, etc 
• Working knowledge of all types of drainage systems, irrigation systems, and all different types of systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Google Drive software, email, and Word-processing documents. 
• Understanding of construction documents. 
• Read and interpret blueprints. 
• Ability to coordinate and work independently in an office environment. 
• Knowledge of CAD software 
• AIA PAYMENT FORMS 
• Can multi-task and work well under pressure, with the ultimate goal of delivering on a deadline. 
• Interested and passionate about the Landscaping Industry. 

Salary and Benefits: 

• Salary at $47,000 - $57,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
• Possibility of commission/design fee percentages
