Alpha to Omega Living, LLC-CILA is currently seeking certified and quality Direct Support Professionals - DSP) to be responsible for providing direct support and supervision to clients at our new South Holland, IL location. This position is EVERY OTHER WEEKEND 6:30am- 6:30 pm PRN shifts as needed if your schedule allows. We hope you can GROW AND GLOW with us!

This role is vital to achieving goals/outcomes for individuals as it relates to learning life essential skills, integrating within the community, and engaging in new experiences in a premiere residential CILA home. The DSP will provide assistance, monitor, report, prevent, and observe any and all health and safety concerns for all individuals supported while at home, in-transit, and in the community. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establishing a secure, positive environment that nurtures residents’ needs, self-expression, and goals.
• Assisting/overseeing/taking care of their daily needs and performing housekeeping duties.
• Assures the safety and health of individual is maintained at all times.
• Provide transportation to and from day training programs, employment, appointments, and group activities.
• Help individuals reach goals that are listed in their Personal Care and/or Behavior Plans.
• Empowers individuals to make their own decisions while provide guidance as needed.
• Is coachable
• Complying with the Company’s and DHS policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Positive, engaging, and enthusiastic personality is a must!
• Must be at least 21 years of age; be flexible and able to adapt to meet the unique needs of each individual.
• Candidate must possess a HS Diploma or GED.
• Candidate must have a valid and current DSP certification and at least 3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a CILA setting.
• Must be able to meet the HealthCare Worker Background Check requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Must have a reliable transportation for work responsibilities/valid drivers license.
• Must successfully meet the agency training requirements.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

Saturday and Sunday (every other weekend)

• 6:30am- 6:30pm

WAGE:

Starting $16.00/hr -$18.00/hour depending on CILA experience and qualifications (potential increase with experience/work performance, etc.,)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
