We are looking for a career minded junior accountant to join our team in providing excellent tax and bookkeeping services in the Four Corners area. You will be responsible for bookkeeping duties as well as financial statement preparation and tax accounting. The ideal candidate will be good with computers and comfortable interacting with clients. You will also need to be accepting of training and change, tax rules change almost every year and each client is unique.

Responsibilities

- Posting accounts and general bookkeeping for various clients

- Assist in payroll preparation and reporting until fully trained

- Assist in sales tax reporting until fully trained

- Assist in financial statement preparation until fully trained

- Assist in income tax preparation until fully trained

- Perform banking and payroll reconciliations

Skills

- Excellent Organizing abilities

- Great attention to detail

- Good understanding of MS Office and Quickbooks is a plus

- AS/AA in accounting/relevant field or two years experience in a public accounting office

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
