Description

Must have 8 years of experience including civil and/or structural inspections and construction materials testing.

Responsibilities include performing civil and/or structural inspections, and also able to handle some construction materials testing of soils, asphaltic concrete and concrete.

Certifications for ICC Structural Inspector in Reinforced Concrete or Structural Masonry desirable. Certifications can be substituted with years of Civil Inspection experience.

Understand and use mathematical formulas to obtain test results. Know how to read construction documents to determine project details and specifications.

Observe and report test results, site conditions and project information as assigned. Interact with Project Manager, Contractors, Clients, Inspectors and other employees.

Proficient in the use of a laptop computer, Microsoft Office and web based programs. 

Requirements

 High school diploma or a G.E.D. certificate required. Supply a five year motor vehicle report with no criminal violations. 

 Certifications for ACI and ATTI preferred, but not required.
