Alpha Baking Company is Hiring a Route sales driver Near Indianapolis, IN
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday delivery days; early morning shift
- Operation of step-van
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Accurate completion of paperwork
- Timely and accurate delivery to all route customers
- Manage and maintain the sales and service of Foodservice Customers within established route
- Work with customers on forecasting and planning of any upcoming events, holidays, etc.
- Continue to work with and grow account sales with suggested product upselling opportunities
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
- Ability to enter / exit vehicle
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
- Education :
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience :
- Valid chauffeur’s license
6) months route delivery experience preferred
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Clean driver history
