Summary of Position:
Packagers prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment; following recipes/make-up instructions; wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures; ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operating, maintaining, and sanitizing equipment; and demonstrating understanding of product and layout execution.
As a Farmers Marker Cashier, you will provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all our guests. Each cashiers primary objective is to show our guests such a delightful time; they will want to return again and again. By attentively engaging guests, cashiers are acutely aware of the guests needs and desires, which will be matched to our offerings.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Follow all JTR Group policies and procedures.
Packaging, labeling and organizing product in a professional and timely manner.
Greet guests quickly and with a smile, noting guests names.
Engage guests about who we are and what we offer.
Provide guests with information regarding food and bakery offerings.
Take guests orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
Notify Management when supplies are low.
Respond to guest complaints with tact and poise, communicate issues with Manager on Duty
Prepare market area for service by manicuring shopping area, sweeping, washing and polishing wares, etc.
Suggestively sell items the guest may be interested in or that we are actively promoting.
Ensure smooth operation of the market area.
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the market including counters, shelves, sinks, utensils, and storage areas.
Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to Manager pm Duty.
Complete all side work tasks prescribed by Manager on Duty
Qualifications:
Be 16 years of age or older.
Be able to communicate respectfully and honestly with others, including all staff.
Be able to do basic math calculations.
Some food preparation experience preferred.
Have the ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, up to 5 hours.
