Company in North Phoenix is looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Test Technical to join their team. This is a long term position with full-time hours. Shift is day shift Monday-Friday 40 hours per week with occasional overtime available. Must have a strong electrical and mechanical background in a manufacturing environment.

Test Tech Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Monitor device behavior and UI; gather reports and results
• Analyze output to verify expected outcomes, identify defects and document them.
• Solid understanding of hardware/software concepts.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and do minor repair on electronic devices.
• Proficient with computers and modules, computer cable connections, basic computer networking.
• Proficient with using the MS Office suite (specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word).
• Able to use basic hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, multimeter, etc.).
• Able to follow oral and written work instructions.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own without direct supervision.
• Experience with component level soldering preferred

Education:

• HS Diploma minimum
• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
• Computer software and hardware related education is desirable
• Understanding of the scientific principles and procedures
• Ability to apply Ohm's Law to simple voltage, resistance and current calculations

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a 7 year background check(no felonies)
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to work Mon-Fri shift

MUST be able to pass a 7-year background check and drug test

Pay rate is $21-$26/hr

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
