Aloha Green Apothecary is Hiring a Packager Near Waialua, HI

Who we are:

Aloha Green Apothecary is Oahu's first dispensary providing world-class cannabis grown under the Hawaiian sun. We are a vertically integrated, local company, supplying premium medical cannabis, we have passionately nurtured from seed to sale. We are seeking a motivated Packager in a full-time role to meet daily goals while exceeding quality goals. The scope of the Packager responsibilities relates to preparing, filling, packaging and labeling medical cannabis and products. This position will also be responsible for maintaining production and packaging equipment. The Packager will safely and effectively utilize the tools and training supplied to them to grow within the Post Production Team of Aloha Green.

What you will do:

The Packager role provides on-site support for assembling and packaging products manufactured by cultivation and processing facility. The role will comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry and adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure, and technique, while continually maintaining a clean and safe working environment within the facility and production areas.

Job Duties:

· Weigh, assemble, package, seal, and label products

· Manage, document, and destroy cultivation waste

· Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with state and local laws

· Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

· Immediately inform management of any system discrepancies

· Visually inspect products and reporting concerns to management for remediation

· Accurately document all activity using company’s system

· Regularly clean and sanitize packaging equipment, tools, and work areas

· Provide additional support as needed to achieve facility production goals

· Perform other duties as assigned by management

Compensation & Benefits:

· Starting at $15/hour during 90-day probationary period; $16/hour DOE AND upon successful completion of the probationary period

What you’ll need:

The Packager/Post Production role is required to have a detailed-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency, quality, and sanitation. The right individual for the role can follow specific instructions and can perform repetitive tasks. The role must be able to take constructive criticism from their supervisors to help maintain quality standards and production goals. The Packager must be at least 21 years old and possess a vehicle due to facility location. Strong preference for local candidates (Oahu residents) as we are urgently hiring.
