Job Summary:

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's data warehouse infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration, along with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Data Warehouse Design and Architecture:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data warehouse solutions
  • Design, implement, and maintain data warehouse structures that support efficient storage and retrieval of data.
• ETL Development:
  • Develop and optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure timely and accurate data integration.
  • Create and maintain ETL pipelines for data extraction from source systems to the data warehouse.
• Data Modeling:
  • Design and implement data models to support business reporting and analytics needs
  • Ensure data models align with business objectives and best practices.
• Performance Tuning:
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the data warehouse to ensure efficient query processing.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in collaboration with the IT team.
• Data Quality Management:
  • Implement data quality checks and processes to maintain the accuracy and consistency of data in the warehouse.
  • Work with data stewards to resolve data quality issues.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business users.
  • Document data warehouse processes, data lineage, and metadata.
• Security and Compliance:
  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data within the data warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and policies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience (5 years) working as a Data Warehouse Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL development, and database management.
• Expertise in using data warehouse platforms such as (mention specific platforms, e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, etc.).
• Proficient in SQL and scripting languages (Python, Shell).
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality management principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in relevant data warehouse technologies.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouse solutions.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
