Alma Vet Connection in Wellington, FL is looking for a veterinary receptionist to join our team. Here the role has the title Client Experience Specialist (CES) because the experience of the people in our practice is just as important as the pets’ visit! A CES at Alma Vet Connection is there to help arrivals and departures happen smoothly, all while answering phones, checking email, staying on top of the schedule, and coordinating with the rest of the team. An exceptional CES will do all of this with the patience and empathy to lean into our core values and build connections with our clients, our patients, and each other.

Alma Vet Connection is owned by a Fear Free Certified veterinarian and embraces both Conventional Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, and setting up new clients and patients.
  • Preparation and maintenance of medical records.
  • Checking clients in and out.
  • Assisting in filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, and financial transactions.
  • Manage mailing, filing, and computer operation.
  • Assisting technicians/doctors as needed.
  • Front office and reception area maintenance.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have veterinary experience!
  • Must have at least 3 year of customer service experience
  • Must be accountable, punctual and show up for work with a can-do, positive attitude
  • Must have a passion for excellence in animal care
  • Must be receptive to training with a positive team attitude.
  • Veterinary software experience is not required, but would be a plus!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
