- Sweep and wash floors, vacuum carpet, wash walls, dust furniture and fixtures and clean
- Remove trash from work areas to the dumpster and remove trash and linen from cleaning carts
- Clean elevator car and tracks
- Deliver miscellaneous goods and supplies to guest rooms and deliver linen and supplies to guest
- Remove bed linens
- Move furniture, and supplies
- Comply with Fairfield Inn & Suites standard operating procedures
- Laundry is delivered to the Laundry room in a timely fashion
- Laundry is sorted, washed, dried and folded properly
- Stained linen is treated and re-claimed
- Damaged linen is removed from inventory
- Laundry is delivered to room attendants
- Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on occasion
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning/inspection
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening
- Communicate with guests, supervisors and subordinates
- Walking and standing are required the rest of the working day. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day
