Fire Alarm Service Technician

Job Overview:

  • The Fire Technician will use their extensive life safety systems and parts knowledge to service a range of life safety systems. The candidate must stay up to date on changing technologies. The technician will test and verify that all systems and devices (alarm panels, sirens, horns, strobes, etc.) to ensure they function properly and in accordance to manufacturer's specifications and code standards. The technician must have excellent customer service, and operate in a professional manner. A successful candidate should be hard-working, organized, be able to work independantly and as a team, and have a clean driving record.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete complex system testing and inspecting
  • Troubleshoot simple and complex systems
  • Knowledgeable with Bosch fire and burge/security systems
  • Knowledgable with cctv camera (preferred)
  • Knowledgable with analog and network cameras (verint and march networks)

Job Requirments:

  • Experience with service and fire alarm inspections
  • Willingness to learn camera systems
  • NICET Systems - Preferred (COMPANY PAID)
  • Willingness to travel up to 4 nights a week depending on location needs
  • Clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
