Job Summary:

The drafter is responsible for technical drawings and plans of steel constructions using Auto CAD.

Job Duties:

• Knowledge of Auto CAD and steel construction, welding and piping
• Create layouts and complete detailed drawings sets for steel structures
• Attention to detail
• Accountability and delivery on deadline commitments and quality
• Knowledge or experience in steel fabrication and field construction a plus

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or certificate from a technical program will be considered

• Knowledge and experience with using Auto CAD

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Familiar with engineering concepts and terminology

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

• Detail oriented and high capacity to work in a focused and methodical manner

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

• Organizational and follow-up capabilities

• Basic mathematical skills, e.g. averages, percentages

• Good communication skills
