Bookkeeper
Reports to President
All Star Property Services provides common area maintenance services to property owners and managers. We provide parking lot sweeping, environmental power washing, and graffiti removal for office buildings, shopping centers and other commercial buildings in North Texas.
Position
Part time bookkeeper to help support the accounting functions of PLM Ventures, Inc., DBA All Star Property Services utilizing QuickBooks
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities include processing payments, making deposits, managing invoicing, processing payroll.
Skill Requirements and Competencies:
· Communications: Excellent verbal and written communicator with ability to express ideas and thoughts clearly.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
· Dependability: Punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitude.
· Ability to execute with limited supervision.
· Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
· Problem Solving in identifying discrepancies in financial data and resolving issues efficiently.
Education/Work Experience
Some college preferred. QuickBooks certified preferred.
At least one year of experience working with QuickBooks
Specific Job Duties Include:
Vendors
· Ensure W-9’s are submitted by 1099 vendors.
· Maintain vendor information in QuickBooks ensuring all contact information is complete.
· Pay COG vendor invoices after verifying a corresponding customer invoice has been processed.
Revenue
· Process deposits (i.e., checks, online receipts, manual credit card payments) and enter into QuickBooks accurately.
· Prepare monthly invoices and other invoices as required.
· Set-up new customer information and/or add locations to existing customers in QuickBooks.
· Send customer Estimates.
· Receive new Contracts via email. Save to “Contract” folder in Outlook.
· Ensure that new contract jobs have been entered into our routing software.
Payroll
· Process payroll through QuickBooks on a weekly basis, creating payroll checks or processing direct deposit for employees.
· Maintain employee data in QuickBooks ensuring all employee contact information and W-2 information is correct.
Special Requirements
This is a Part Time position and requires in office hours. Schedule is flexible.
