AllStar Billing Service is Hiring a Revenue Cycle Specialist Near Albuquerque, NM

```Duties:```
- Review and analyze medical records and documentation to ensure accurate coding and billing
- Assign appropriate ICD-10, ICD-9, and DRG codes to medical procedures and diagnoses
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for reimbursement
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve coding and billing discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Monitor and track outstanding claims for timely reimbursement
- Follow up on denied or rejected claims and appeal as necessary
- Provide support and guidance to other revenue cycle team members

```Requirements:```
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) strongly preferred
- Proficient in medical terminology, ICD-10, ICD-9, and DRG coding systems
- Knowledge of medical billing processes, including claim submission and reimbursement procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical office software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and documentation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Pay: $17.07 - $17.41 per hour
