Job description

The Fund Regulatory Reporting Analyst will contribute to the preparation and review of all annual, quarterly, and monthly reports to regulators. Ensuring adherence with GAAP, regulatory reporting requirements and approved policies in addition to meeting all filing deadlines.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Fund Regulatory Reporting Analyst will complete and review Form NPORT, NMFP, PF, CPO-PQR and other legal and regulatory filings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Additional ad-hoc 3rd party reporting will be required on an "as need be basis".
    This position will collaborate with peers, internal business partners and external vendors throughout reporting processes and assist in the timely resolution of any issues identified.
  • In addition, the successful candidate will work on implementing new accounting standards; contribute to the establishment of new policies or policy changes in response to regulatory changes, new investment types, and new fund types.
  • The Fund Regulatory Reporting Analyst will assist in identifying opportunities to improve department efficiency, develop and implement changes in current processes, with appropriate guidance and approvals.
  • Evaluate the impact of process changes.
  • Communicate impacts to affected parties and help prepare work environment for change.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: financial industry, financial analytics and/or fund accounting
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge and understanding of mutual funds administration: financial reporting, fund accounting, and operations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV).
  • Knowledge and understanding of mutual funds, financial reporting, and regulatory filings.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information.
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
  • Strong project management, vendor management, and research skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of independently monitoring and completing tasks and projects within required time frames.
  • Ability to change priorities quickly.
