Construction Superintendent - Multi-Family – Base Salary to 125k/year - Marina Del Rey, CA

• Our client is a large design and build multi-family builder has been in business over 30 years and is looking to add a Construction Superintendent to their team.
• The Construction Superintendent will play a crucial role in the successful execution of construction projects, from inception to completion. The Construction Superintendent will work closely with other team members to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and advancement in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee O&M turnover and punch list activities.
• Collaborate with site Property Management for seamless operations.
• Coordinate all stages of construction, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Manage, update, and track the overall project schedule.
• Perform and communicate material takeoffs, quantity surveys, and plan modifications.
• Exhibit planning, scheduling, organization, supervision, coordination, safety, training, decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership skills in multi-family apartment construction.
• Interpret and follow multi-family apartment construction plans, blueprints, specifications, and warranty standards.
• Supervise subordinate site staff, including Assistant Superintendents & General Labor.
• Review construction techniques for enhancements.
• Coordinate City inspections and ensure compliance.
• Participate in the evaluation of subcontractor draw requests.
• Provide owners with construction reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of construction management experience required (multi-family experience preferred).
• Proficient in plan reading, take-offs, and all construction trades.
• Expertise in site development and apartment building construction methods.
• Proficient in diagnosing and solving problems in the field.
• Technical experience essential.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 100k – 125k/year range
