AllPro Government is currently hiring in the Canandaigua area for an experienced Registered Nurses with 1 to 2 years work experience to provide nursing care in a skilled long term care setting.

This assignment is a Government Contract and will need to pass and observe Federal regulations and policies (i.e. – background and drug-screening).

FACILITIY: Skilled Long Term Care Nursing Unit

SHIFT HOURS: 12’s - including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays

Pay Range: $47-$50/hr

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Current state license as an RN
• Proof of current CPR and BLS certification

Job Description:

• Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient
• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries
• Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient
• Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations
• Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition
• Assess patients’ conditions and chart observations
• Administer medication as prescribed by the patient’s physician
• Provide effective communication to patients/clients, their family members, team members, and other health care professionals
