Veterinary Clinic Seeking Part-Time or Full-Time Receptionist

We are a small, busy practice working with cats, dogs, and exotics. We are seeking motivated individuals who are looking to expand their knowledge of veterinary medicine and communicates well in times of pressure. We pride ourselves on our commitment to our clients and patients and are looking for employees who share this view. As a small clinic, we are able to offer our staff ample hands-on learning opportunities, flexible scheduling, and a family-like environment.

We prefer experience in the veterinary field or customer service and we will expect you to able to show adequate knowledge of the field and a strong desire/ability to take on more responsibilities.

Duties for our receptionist include (but are not limited to):

-Answering incoming phone calls and triaging appropriately

-Preparing and processing client payments

-Checking in and out for appointments

-Passing messages to the appropriate staff

-Coordinate medical records

-Effective and efficient communication

The ideal applicant for this position will have a positive attitude, be detail-oriented, professional, and can take direction/input well. Successful candidates will become familiar with clinic flow and anticipate when and where they will be needed. Also crucial to this position is being able to multi-task when the clinic is busy as well as stay focused when it’s slow.

Our work week is Monday - Wednesday and the first three Saturdays of the month.
