Job Summary:

This is a second shift position. Candidate will train on first shift, then move to second shift.

We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Operator to join our team. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic products. This is a full-time position in our manufacturing facility.

Duties:
- Set up and operate extrusion machines according to production specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Familiarity with hand tool use and mechanical operation of extrusion equipment
- Proficient in basic math calculations for measuring and mixing materials
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Ability to move and handle materials according to specifications and production needs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics extrusion

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
