We are all one team! The Team The Operations Logistics Team is an important part of our ATX-Gx™ Transgenic Mouse Platform.

The team is responsible for the breeding and colony management of our proprietary transgenic mice that are used for antibody drug discovery.

We are expanding our team, and we are looking for an Operations Associate / Shipping Coordinator to join our team in Waltham, Massachusetts.

The Role As an Operations Associate, Strain & Distribution, you will make sure our partners receive their shipments. You will be in charge of collecting and fulfilling mouse orders and maintaining communication with both internal and external partners and facilities during the ordering process and strain shipments.

Your role will include facilitating the onboarding of new partners by developing and maintaining primary resource documents, and acting as a liaison for technical support by contacting internal experts to provide necessary responses.

Coordination with Business Development (BD), accounting for Purchase and Sales Orders, and understanding the content of licensing agreements related to strains in collaboration with the legal team are also key aspects of your duties.

You will support core activities such as generating Purchase Orders (PO) and troubleshooting live animal and cold chain logistics as needed.

Additionally, you will coordinate with our third-party vivarium to ensure on-time shipping for our partners, manage all required paperwork and documentation for shipment and strain documentation, and support partner adoption and engagement as new animal platforms are developed and released.

This role also involves suggesting new offerings for older strains and working with BD and marketing on programs to encourage the use of more strains.

This role requires an obsessive focus on customer service, high attention to detail, responsive communication, thoughtful problem-solving, and an execution mindset.

This role will report to our Chief Operating Officer with the opportunity to own various projects and tasks in Alloy’s dynamic start-up environment.

How You’ll Drive Impact Support : Process all incoming partner orders and communicate with our partners and vendors to ensure fulfillment and shipment of orders Quality : Provide high-quality customer support and service with an obsessive attention to detail and accuracy Deliver : Accurate and timely information to partners and Operations team members to ensure accurate order fulfillment and insights into customer demand and supply levels Improve : Identify areas of improvement in our logistics processes and work with the Operations team to implement.

Manage : Flow of information from partner and vendors and ensure timely communication and update to information systems managing orders and inventory management Coordinate : With Finance, Business Development and Operations team to ensure accurate billing and follow-through with sales orders.

Desired Multipliers B.A with 4 or M.S with 2 years of experience in life sciences industry 1 years experience in a program or project management role Demonstrated expertise in account and client management.

Experience managing procurement systems and PO processes. Experience with colony management and familiarity with animal breeding processes.

Ability to lead supply chain logistics, including shipping coordination and troubleshooting. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Attention to detail, process-oriented, and clear communication skills. An independent sense of urgency and persi stence while navigating competing priorities.
