CNC PRODUCTION OPERATOR - 2ND SHIFT
Position Summary: In this position, you will be responsible for operating assigned machining equipment in supporting the manufacturing needs of the company. This includes preventative maintenance and machine changeovers. Essential Job Duties:
Performs machining by studying work orders, blueprints, materials, specifications, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces
Maintains specifications by observing and taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education/Technical Skills
Associate's degree (A.A.) preferred
Should be proficient with CNC controls and manually operated milling equipment.
Must possess strong knowledge of machines and tools with regard to safety, use and repair.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work as a team
Ability to use measuring equipment
Ability to operate machinery
At least 2-3 years of work-related experience required.

Ability to stand for long periods, frequent bending and reaching.
Ability to tolerate high temperatures in the work environment.
