Founded in early 2020, the company has raised $38M and is generating revenue with our pilot manufacturing facility. For the first time, on-demand fabrication meets the cost and scale of casting in an exploding $102B market largely driven by electrification.

The Role

Alloy is looking for a Production Technician to work within the Part Production team building parts for our customers at Alloys part production facility.

This role will report to the Shift Lead who will be responsible for on-site training along with support from lead technicians.

This position is for 2nd shift, 2 : 00 pm - 10 : 30 pm, after being trained on the 1st shift.

What youll do

• Operate Alloys novel metal manufacturing systems to build aluminum parts which include laser cutting, bonding presses, and sheet handling equipment
• Follow company policies and procedures including safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Good Manufacturing Procedures
• Review and update manufacturing records and work orders, identify and correct errors, and submit finished documentation for quality release
• Perform quality checks and inspections at various stages of production
• Inspect final parts, test material properties, and record data using scanning equipment and other material characterization tools
• Support troubleshooting efforts as new improvements are implemented
• Provide feedback to help make improvements and identify issues - we love feedback!
• Support inventory tracking, shipping, and receiving
• Other duties as needed to support the Operations and Engineering teams

What youll bring

• 2 years of work experience, preferably at a manufacturing or technology company
• History of completing tasks efficiently, effectively, and with good attention to detail
• Experience in a deadline-driven environment
• Enjoy working with your hands, tools, and running equipment - mechanically inclined
• Able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs independently, 50 lbs with assist
• Familiarity with any of the following is a plus : metrology, 3D printing, robotics, CNC machining, and spreadsheet software
