Allied Reliability is seeking Maintenance/Utilities Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair to maintain Equipment Reliability. *Food and Beverage experience required*

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to safety, health, and environmental standards and policies by taking personal responsibility to prevent injury or illness from exposure to hazards. Maintain housekeeping by adhering to established site standards and by removing all maintenance-related parts and waste to ensure a safe and orderly job site.
• Perform the proper lock-out/tag-out procedures on equipment in accordance with applicable standards to ensure zero energy state prior to commencing maintenance work and minimize health, safety, and environmental hazards to employees and the community.
• Use and maintenance and measuring tools and equipment in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications and established safety policies to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Handle all maintenance materials and parts in accordance with established standards and procedures to prevent damage to the parts and equipment.
• Document maintenance activities using the facility’s maintenance management system and logs.
• Performs maintenance of the wastewater and utilities systems as required. Preforms assigned general housekeeping duties.
• Actively seek out opportunities to add value through the application of maintenance skills.
• Performs regular inspection activities on equipment to identify abnormalities and takes appropriate actions to return equipment to good operating condition.
• Actively participate in improvement group activities sharing and utilizing knowledge to maximize the effectiveness of the group and its objectives.
• Perform preventive and/or predictive maintenance according to the work plan to maximize mean time between failures.
• Lubricate equipment in accordance with lubrication schedule and equipment specifications to ensure reliable performance and prevent damage.
• Perform alignment checks on rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, fans blowers, turbines, gear boxes, compressors) in accordance with equipment specifications in order to ensure reliable performance and prevent damage.
• Coordinate service work with Contractors
• Member of the spill team and respond to environmental emergencies

Qualifications

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent
• You are flexible to work weekends and nights may be required
• You have Multi-Craft Technical proficiency with:
  • Blueprints and Schematics
  • Electrical - Control System, Motors, PLCs, Instrumentation
  • Fluid Power - pneumatic, hydraulic, pumps, valves
  • Power Transmission – gear, Sprockets, Chains, Pullies
