Medical Receptionist, Full Time/Part Time

We are seeking a candidate for aMedical Receptionist position. The Medical Receptionist role is everyone’s first point of contact for the office. Flexibility, professional appearance, good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are crucial for this role. The office requires attention to details while maintaining a welcoming presence for both patients, their parents, and visitors.

Seeking Full Time or Part Time Coverage During Business Hours:

Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm

Position Responsibilities:

Greeting patients and visitors

Answering telephones in a courteous and professional manner.

Scheduling appointments for patients

Collecting copays or balance due

Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, computer knowledge

Must be personable, organized, and reliable

Must like children and have a pleasant demeanor with children

Multilingual (Spanish primarily) speaking a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year in a medical office, pediatric experience a PLUS
  • Prior experience and/or knowledge of EMR is required.
  • Experience with GE Centricity preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Medical office that is both physically and emotionally demanding
  • Standing or stooping for long periods of time.
  • Mild physical labor to complete the tasks at hand.
  • Exposure to blood, chemicals, and other bodily fluids.
  • Possible heavy lifting (infants, toddlers, children)
  • Other physical demands that coincide with the duties of a laboratory professional.
  • Allied Physicians Group and Adjuvant.Health requires all new hires to disclose their COVID-19 vaccination status upon offer of employment. Positions requiring direct patient contact will require new hires to be vaccinated for COVID-19 This is a condition of employment, unless a religious or medical exemption is approved.

Compensation & Benefits offered:

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr. Negotiable, Dependent Upon Experience

(You must work a minimum of 30 hours a week to be eligible for benefits)
