Summary

The Shipping Associate’s primary responsibility is to prepare outbound shipments (pull, pack and ship). They would also receive, store and distribute material and products within the facility, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

• Pull, pack and ship outbound orders.
• Perform shipping and receiving activities while ensuring quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
• Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
• Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
• Sorting and packaging boxes to appropriate lanes for Fed-Ex, UPS and USPS.
• Load and unload freight, to include Flag and Puzzle shipments.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Must be able to be cross trained across all facets of fulfillment. 
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. 
• Processing and packaging approximately 350-400 boxes per day.
• Operates carts or hand trucks to convey, move materials to proper departments or areas.
• Performs all computer functions necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by Department Manager or Department Lead.
