Allied Machine & Engineering is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Coordinator

Allied Machine & Engineering, headquartered in Dover, Ohio, is a leading manufacturer of holemaking and finishing cutting tool systems. Allied is currently looking for a Inside Sales Coordinator to to build and maintain customer relationships through processing orders, responding to inquiries and continuously pursuing customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Commitment to customer satisfaction & on-time delivery.
  • Order entry of all Allied Machine products into ERP software.
  • Enter information into databases, appropriate for each type of order.
  • Confirmation & verification of customer orders.
  • Maintain orders per customer requests and document all changes.
  • Provide delivery & due date information.
  • Provide stock status & pricing information.
  • Expedite orders as requested, documented in the expediting database.
  • Improve on delivery by same day entry of all orders received by 5:00 p.m.
  • Issue return & inventory exchange authorizations
  • Responsible for aspects of customer inquiries related to all carrier issues.
  • Investigate, resolve, and follow up with customers concerning complaints in a timely manner.
  • Respond to all emailed requests received within 24 hours.
  • Issue credits & billing only through ERP software
  • Fax or email customer invoices as requested.
  • Accountable for all daily tasks assigned during scheduled work hours.
  • Responsible for follow-up with Inside Sales Supervisor on all assignments based on time expectations. On time completion is required.
  • Send professional and accurate communications to both internal and external recipients.

As assigned:

  • Monitor export accounts for the grouping of shipments.
  • Process export shipments.
  • Process paperwork for export shipments.
  • Fax invoices & information for export shipments.
  • Follow all export compliance rules
  • Process backorders.
  • Audit backorder report for the late customer service orders and odd hold codes.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Advanced Data Entry, Word Processing, Customer Service experience preferred.

Experience:

  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Efficient/Accurate date entry skill.
  • AMEC product knowledge preferred.

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Windows or equivalent operating system.
  • Working knowledge of Access databases.
  • Basic word processing (memos, fax cover letters) skills.
  • Good ability to communicate.
  • Maintain professionalism internally and externally.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
