*Position Title:

Data Center Security/Physical Access Coordinator

*JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is a full time, Temporary employee, 4x10 position, working Tuesday-Friday, 12:00PM-10:30PM. This position will be from May 2024 until August 2024. Three-day weekend every week!

The position of Data Center Security/Physical Access Coordinator performs physical access coordination at corporate locations. This, in essence, enables or prohibits access to sensitive and restricted areas.

Essential duties for the position include, but are not limited to the following:

· OEM Vendor escort and accompaniment in data centers for maintenance and troubleshooting in the following areas:

o Office areas

o Factories

o Warehouses

o Training areas

o Gates and visitor buildings located in Appliance Park, Louisville, KY

· Help with physical rebooting of servers and network devices through the power source – i.e. power switch and/or device plug.

· Move hardware/parts from holding areas to data centers and handover to OEM vendor for installation/replacement.

· Maintain L3 coverage hours in AP4 data center and L2 coverage hours in AP1 data center

o L3 is defined as a “post” location in AP4, DC where one resource will be posted per shift

o L2 is defined as a remote location in AP1, DC where AP4-located resource will dispatch to that location as needed.

· Granting lobby access (AP4) per customer’s defined policies

· Granting access for escorted visitors per customer’s defined policies

· Escort approved visitors that don't have access rights per customer’s defined policies

· Maintain access logs of all visitors per customer’s defined policies

· Log out access keys for lift gate, golf carts, and overhead doors

· Submit "success" and "denied" access reports monthly

· Monitoring of below systems – KT/SOP’s and criteria for each to be provided by Infosys and/or GEA:

o EPMS high voltage system (read only access)

o BMS (building management system) that controls Chillers, Thermal Storage Units, Water Flows, Exhaust Fans, Temperature Control, Air Handlers, Generator Starts, etc. (read only access)

o Simplex (fire protection and alerting tool) (read only access)

o Leak detection system (read only access)

o Notify responsible parties via SOP to address any monitored alerts

· Perform a physical walkthrough of AP1 data center every 2 hours (2nd shift during the week. All shifts on the weekend) – to be completed by posted resource in AP4.

· Perform a physical walkthrough of AP4 data center every 2 hours (2nd shift during the week. All shifts on the weekend) – to be completed by posted resource in AP4.

· Check all secured doors and critical spaces

· Listen for audible alarms and look for red/yellow lights - Observe and report

Experience:

· Requires 1 years of related work experience

· Ability to operate and manipulate a personal computer. Ability to:

o Run reports – training provided

· Must be able to pass a background check

· Must be able to walk distances as well as perform minor lifting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
